Senior marketing and commercial experience in property development
I work directly with developers and project marketers on the strategy, marketing and communications needed to bring residential projects to market and keep interested leads moving towards a sales conversation.
Background
I've worked in marketing for more than 25 years across property development, construction, engineering, professional services, technology and not-for-profit organisations.
In property, I was responsible for state marketing for a property developer, including product mix, pricing, marketing strategy and pre-sales requirements. I later led marketing across an ASX-listed group's development, construction and real estate businesses.
Today I work directly with developers and project marketers, including leading the marketing for a live residential apartment development in Perth across strategy, digital activity, lead communication, database management, campaign delivery and coordination with the sales team.
A consistent thread through my work has been what happens between marketing and sales. I look at what leads respond to, what information they need, where opportunities may be getting lost and how the marketing needs to change once a project is in market.
I also develop and sell my own property, which gives me an additional perspective on how residential property is positioned, presented and assessed by buyers.

I step in, work out what needs to be done and take responsibility for keeping the marketing moving.
I stay close to leads and sales
I look at what leads are asking, what they are responding to and what the sales team needs to know. That helps shape the marketing as the project progresses.
I spend carefully
I look at what can be achieved with the marketing and enquiries already in place before recommending more spend.
I keep it practical
Clear priorities, sensible budgets, regular communication and suppliers who know what they are responsible for.
